Who we are

Rust Arabia is a free gaming community for players in the Arab world and the Gulf, operated by CyberSynthetics Solutions LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We run a 2x Rust game server hosted in Dubai, a Discord community and this website (rustarabia.com), together "the services". "We", "us" and "our" mean Rust Arabia and CyberSynthetics Solutions LLC.

By playing on the server, joining our Discord or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Playing on the server, joining the Discord and using this website are all free.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

To play on the server you need a Steam account and your own legitimate copy of Rust. You also need to follow the rules of the platforms we use:

• The Steam Subscriber Agreement for your Steam account
• Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when you use our Discord
• The minimum age set by Steam, Discord and the age rating for Rust where you live

Accounts that are shared, bought or sold are not allowed. You are responsible for what happens on your accounts.

The game server

The game server is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To keep it running well we may, at any time and with or without notice:

• Wipe the map, blueprints or player data, on the published schedule or outside it
• Restart the server, or roll it back after a crash or an exploit
• Change settings, rates, team limits, plugins or the map
• Take the server offline for maintenance, or close it

Items, bases and progress exist only on our server, have no real-world value and are lost on wipe. We do not compensate for progress lost to wipes, crashes, rollbacks, downtime or bans.

Server rules and moderation

The server rules apply whenever you play and form part of these terms. Read them before you join.

Staff may warn, mute, kick, or temporarily or permanently ban any player who breaks the rules or harms the community. Staff decide how to apply the rules, including in situations the rules do not cover. A ban can cover the game server, our Discord and the linked features on this website.

If you think a decision is wrong, open a ticket in our Discord. Staff review appeals, and the outcome of the review is final.

Discord community

Our Discord is where we post announcements, wipe news, giveaways and support. When you use it:

• The rules posted in our Discord apply
• Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines also apply
• Staff may remove messages, change roles, and time out or ban members

Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, spam, scams and advertising other communities without permission are not allowed.

Account linking

Signing in with Steam on this website and linking your Discord account are optional. You do not need to link anything to play on the server.

Linking unlocks extras such as Discord raid alarms, vending logs and giveaway eligibility. When you link Discord, we may add you to our Discord server and give you the linked role there.

• Only link accounts that belong to you
• You can unlink Discord at any time on the linking page
• What we store when you link is explained in our Privacy Policy

Giveaway rules

Giveaways are free to enter. No purchase or payment is needed, and paying never improves your chances.

• How to enter: through our Discord, following the steps in each giveaway announcement
• Eligibility: your Steam and Discord accounts must be linked on rustarabia.com, you must be a member of our Discord when the winner is drawn, and you must not be banned
• One person, one account: each person takes part with a single linked account. If an announcement gives extra chances, for example for playtime on the server, the announcement explains how
• Winners are drawn at random by staff or by our Discord bot, and announced in our Discord
• Prizes are in-game items or Steam items, as stated in each announcement. Prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred unless the announcement says so
• Claiming: winners must claim their prize through Discord within the window stated in the announcement. Prizes not claimed within that window may be redrawn
• Staff may disqualify entries that involve cheating, alt accounts, bots or other abuse, and may change or cancel a giveaway if something goes wrong

Each announcement may add rules for that giveaway; where they differ from these terms, the announcement applies to that giveaway. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed or run by Steam, Valve, Discord or Facepunch Studios.

Anti-cheat and bans

The server is protected by Galium, a server-side anti-cheat. It analyses gameplay on our server and does not install anything on your computer.

These are not allowed and lead to bans:

• Cheats, scripts, macros and any third-party tool that gives an unfair advantage
• Exploiting bugs or glitches
• Ban evasion, including using alt accounts to get around a ban

Anti-cheat detections are reviewed together with staff judgement. Cheating bans are normally permanent. Appeals go through a ticket in our Discord.

Stats and content ownership

The public stats, leaderboards, player ratings, challenges and EventMap on this website are produced by RankEval, and anti-cheat results by Galium. RankEval and Galium are sister products run by CyberSynthetics Solutions LLC, the same company that operates Rust Arabia.

• Stats, ratings, rankings, EventMap outputs and anti-cheat results, and the methods used to produce them, belong to CyberSynthetics Solutions LLC
• By playing on our server, you allow us to collect, analyse and publicly display your gameplay data for stats, leaderboards and the EventMap
• The Rust Arabia name, logo, website design and content belong to us. Do not copy them or present them as your own without written permission

Your Steam and Discord accounts stay yours. How we handle the data behind the stats is explained in our Privacy Policy.

No affiliation

Rust Arabia is an independent community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Facepunch Studios, the developer of Rust, or by Valve (Steam) or Discord. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios. All other trademarks belong to their owners.

Limitation of liability

The services are free and provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the server, the Discord or this website will always be online, error-free or secure, or that stats will always be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rust Arabia, CyberSynthetics Solutions LLC and their staff are not liable for:

• Loss of in-game items, bases, progress, stats or giveaway prizes
• Downtime, wipes, rollbacks or data loss
• The behaviour of other players or Discord members
• Problems caused by third-party services such as Steam, Discord or Cloudflare

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute about them or the services, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.

• First, contact us at hello@cybersynthetics.com or open a ticket in our Discord and describe the issue. We will work in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days
• If it cannot be resolved that way, the dispute will be settled by final and binding arbitration in Dubai, in English, under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC)

Nothing in this section removes rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the server, the Discord or this website change. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page and announce significant changes in our Discord. If you keep using the services after a change, you accept the updated terms.
